Understand your generation credit amount
Read the maximum shown before a request, and check the settled amount in your credit history.

Before you send an image or video request, the composer shows a maximum credit amount. Check that number after choosing your model and output settings. It is the amount quoted for that request's supported workflow.
Check the quote after changing settings
Different models and output settings have different costs. Duration, resolution, and the type of generation can affect the amount shown. Available settings depend on your selected model.
Use the explanation beneath the maximum amount to see what the current quote includes. If you change a setting or attach a different supported reference, read the updated amount before submitting.
There is no single credit price that applies to every image or every video. The composer is the place to check the current quote for the request you are preparing.
The maximum and the settled charge can differ
The workflow reserves credits against the quote before it carries out paid work. Once the work has been reconciled, it settles the charge and releases unused reserved credits when the final cost is lower.
A pending request may still be waiting for generation, review, or cost reconciliation. During that time, the visible balance can include a reservation that has not yet reached its final settled state.
Avoid repeatedly submitting the same request while you are waiting for its status to update. Check the existing conversation first so you can distinguish an unfinished attempt from a new one.
Review the credit history
Open credits in your account to review your balance and recorded credit activity. Keep the request's conversation available when you are checking a specific generation.
A release of unused reserved credits returns credits under their original restrictions. It does not create a new unlimited or non-expiring balance. Check the account's credit details if you need to understand which credits are available.
Prepare the next request with the result in view
For an image, decide which detail you want to change before generating another version. For a video, review the clip and its settings together. Each new submission is a new request to check.
The image prompt guide and image-to-video guide can help you make that next request more specific. For the current purchase options and included credits, see pricing.
